It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are. Happiness is not a destination. It is a method of life. We can sometimes love what we do not understand, but it is impossible completely to understand what we do not love. Be an explorer...read, surf the internet, visit customers, enjoy arts, watch children play...do anything to prevent yourself from becoming a prisoner of your knowledge, experience, and current view of the world. You call it madness, but I call it love. Unless the knowledge gained from experience is reconditioned in each new situation, it is a rigid and a dangerous guide. The person interested in success has to learn to view failure as a healthy, inevitable part of the process of getting to the top. The winners in life think constantly in terms of I can, I will, and I am. Losers, on the other hand, concentrate their waking thoughts on what they should have or would have done, or what they can't do. There are some people who live in a dream world, and there are some who face reality; and then there are those who turn one into the other. Failure? I never encountered it. All I ever met were temporary setbacks. |
