Losers visualize the penalties of failure. Winners visualize the rewards of success. Tolerate, change, or be grateful. Acceptance of dissent is the fundamental requirement of a free society. A library of wisdom, is more precious than all wealth, and all things that are desirable cannot be compared to it. Whoever therefore claims to be zealous of truth, of happiness, of wisdom or knowledge, must become a lover of books. Failure can be divided into those who thought and never did and into those who did and never thought. Working hard overcomes a whole lot of other obstacles. You can have unbelievable intelligence, you can have connections, you can have opportunities fall out of the sky. But in the end, hard work is the true, enduring characteristic of successful people. Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there. The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation. Character is the sum and total of a person's choices. To do good thing in the world, first you must know who you are and what gives meaning to your life. |
