Wherever you are - know I really love you. Wherever you've been --know I've been there too. Whatever you're doing when you need a friend call me, I'll be there just to listen to you. I have always felt alienated from words, attacked by them, silenced by them, ignored by them, words have never been fast friends. I listen to the voices that come from my heart, and scream from my guts, I am more than what you see. I say this only to myself, sure no one will listen, and terrified everyone will... A lot of people did date, unfortunately, I wasn't one of them. I was just so shy. Plus when you're the youngest you're used to being the baby, the cute one, the little sister, then suddenly you have to find that role of being a girlfriend, and it's like, I don't get it. I'm used to spying on people, I don't know how to be spied on. We love labels. We really do--as a society, I mean. It's so much easier to understand the world around us if we name it, tie it down, and distance ourselves from the parts we don't like.... We all want to beloved, we all want to love, and we all want to share the happiness in our lives with others. The experiment is how far we are willing to go to live our lives with that love. I watch out my window as the planes take off into space. Oh, that I could fly away and start fresh. But I must realize that fresh starts also come in the pretty wrapped gift called 'tomorrow.' Falling in love with someone isn't always going to be easy... Anger... tears... laughter.. It's when you want to be together despite it all. That's when you truly love another. I'm sure of it. Who said that every wish would be heard and answered, when wished on the morning star? Somebody thought of that, and someone believed it, look what it’s done so far. What’s so amazing that keeps us star gazing? And what do we think we might see? Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers, and me. After awhile you learn that what you really are is all the experiences and all the thoughts you've ever had and all the people who have touched your life, no matter how briefly. Just so you know, there's a space that only you can fill. Just so you know, I loved you then, I guess I always will. Speak your mind. Don’t let anyone censor you. It’s the best advice. Even as a teenager, I always said what I was thinking. I wasn’t afraid of what others think. You have to express yourself no matter what anyone else thinks about it. |
