Sometimes, struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets. I try very hard to live by the saying 'To thine own self be true' and to live life for myself because, ultimately, no one else is going to get anything out of it but me. I work hard to let people be who they are, knowing that any amount of judging them won't change them. There are many things I can say I need in life, but when it comes down to it, the only thing that will make me happy when I'm having a bad day is knowing I'm wanted, that people would rather have me in this world than not. Because there are those times when you forget how it feels to be alive, you forget you would rather be in this world than not be in it. For me the most important thing is to laugh. I need to laugh. I need to laugh my whole entire life. Laugh so much people think I'm crazy and then get them laughing with me. We need time to dream, time to remember, and time to reach the infinite. Time to be. Did it ever occur to you that I loved you as much as a man can love a woman? Loved you for years before I finally got you? During the war I'd go away and try to forget you, but I couldn't and I always had to come back. After the war I risked arrest, just to come back and find you. I cared so much I believe I would have killed Frank Kennedy if he hadn't died when he did. I loved you but I couldn't let you know it. You're so brutal to those you love, Scarlett. You take their love and hold it over their heads like a whip. Nothing has turned out as we expected! It never does. Life's under no obligation to give us what we expect. We take what we get and are thankful it's no worse than it is. When the heart dares to speak, it needs no preparation. No matter how many times I tell you she'll break you heart, or how many times she does it, you'll never give up, Why you ask?...because you love her.
