It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart, without saying a word you could light up the dark. Trials I made I could never explain, what I hear when you don't say a thing. The smile on your face lets me know that you need me. There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me. The touch of your hand says you'll catch me whenever I fall. You say it best, when you say nothing at all. All day long I can hear people talking out loud, but when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd. Trials they make they could never defy, what's been said between your heart and mine. He said something that didn't mean as much then as it does now. He told me that things happen in life that you can't stop. But, it wasn't a reason to shut out the world. I realize that, I have been so afraid of the bad things that, um, that I missed out of the good. You know, I didn't want to come back here. But I am really glad that I did. I forgotten how much it helped to have you guys as friends. Really lucky to have this place and each other. Boy! There's a part of me that would like to stay here forever. In the time of my life, I need more time just to make things right. I will love the light for it shows me the way, Yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars. What is happening to me? Crazy, some’d say. Where is my friend when I need you most? Gone away. A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often--just to save it from dying out completely. Love your enemies just in case your friends turn out to be bastards. Reach out for the joy and the sorrow. Put them away in your mind. The memories are times that you borrow, to spend when you get to tomorrow.. To find a friend, one must close one eye; to keep him, two. There are two types of people: those who GET IT and those who DON'T. If they GET IT, there's nothing to explain and if they DON'T, there's no point in trying to explain. |
