Behold, he putteth no trust in His saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in His sight. (Job 15:15) Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him (Job 41:9)? Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. (Jeremiah 7:8) Beloved, let us love one another (1 John 4:7). Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it (Proverbs 15:17). Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. (Psalms 66:20) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3). Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. (Psalms 40:4) Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him (James 1:12).
