Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. (Proverbs 17:28) Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. (Isaiah 56:7) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (Proverbs 30:5) Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) Faith without works is dead. Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful (Proverbs 27:6). Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song. He also is become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2) Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love (1 John 4:7-8). He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him (John 3:36). But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you. (Philemon 1:22) |
