Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling (1 Peter 4:8-9). All these trust to their hands: and every one is wise in his work. All who humble themselves before the Lord shall be given every blessing and shall have wonderful peace. (Psalm 37:11) Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer. (Lamentations 3:8) Although thou sayest thou shalt not see Him, yet judgment is before Him; therefore trust thou in Him. (Job 35:14) Forsake not an old friend, for the new is not comparable to him. A new friend is a new wine; when if is old, thou shalt drink it with pleasure. A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22) How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. (Psalms 36:7) And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. (Revelations 8:3) He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. (Psalms 102:17) |
