It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left. (Isaiah 37:4) Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him. (Psalms 2:12) Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:21). Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Judge not, that ye be not judged (Matthew 7:1). In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, flee as a bird to your mountain? (Psalms 11:1) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live (John 11:25). Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
