Life is a sum of all your choices. Man is the only creature that refuses to be what he is. Nobody realizes that some people expend tremendous energy merely to be normal. The rebel can never find peace. He knows what is good and, despite himself, does evil. The value which supports him is never given to him once and for all The truth, as the light, makes blind. There is but one truly serious philosophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy.
