Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination. There are truths that are not for all men, nor for all occasions When its a question of money, everybody is of the same religion. The public is a ferocious beast -- one must either chain it up or flee from it. Man is free at the moment he wishes to be. I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: "O Lord, make my enemies ridiculous." And God granted it. Doubt is not a pleasant condition but certainty is an absurd one.
