Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality. To live is so startling it leaves little time for anything else. To hope means to be ready at every moment for that which is not yet born, and yet not become desperate if there is no birth in our lifetime. Tis so much joy! 'Tis so much joy! If I should fail, what poverty! And yet, as poor as I Have ventured all upon a throw; Have gained! Yes! Hesitated so this side the victory! They are better than human beings, because they know but do not tell. If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain. The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience. Where thou art, that is home. That it will never come again is what makes life sweet.
