I never looked at the consequences of missing a big shot . . . when you think about the consequences you always think of a negative result. You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them. Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. Life is often compared to a marathon, but I think it is more like being a sprinter; long stretches of hard work punctuated by brief moments in which we are given the opportunity to perform at our best. |
