If we didn't put people on pedestals, we wouldn't have to push them off later. A house is the place where one is waited for. It's not about adding years to one's life, but adding life to one's years. Our society has come to a point in which we no longer adore the golden calf, but the calf's gold. Honest politicians get out of the way when they are under suspicion. This society makes it easy for us to make love, but not to fall in love. He who does not love is always right: it's the only thing he has. A writer, many times, is like a race horse who has lost its rider and doesn't know why he's running or where his goal is, however, he is demanded to keep running even if he has no idea where or why. Pain is more intense amongst the strongest. Like cancer. Love is the poetry of our feelings. But there are some horrible poems. |
