The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good. Too many people today know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Television has proved that people will look at anything rather than each other. The poor wish to be rich, the rich wish to be happy, the single wish to be married, and the married wish to be dead. If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity it would be this: Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life and when it comes, hold you head high, look it squarely in eye and say, 'I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me.' |
