Many times sincerity all of a sudden becomes too much to handle. It is impossible to win without someone else losing. The solution to a problem always creates new problems. Compared to affective values reasons are worth nothing, because reasons are nothing but reasons, it's to say that, they aren't even truths. A pedant is an idiot adulterated by his studies. Life is doubt, and faith without doubt is only death. Languages, like religions, live off heresey. Being skeptical is not about being doubtful, but about carefully investigating the cause. The worst intolerance is of that which we call reason. I talk about myself a lot, because I'm the man that I have close at hand. |
